Role Overview

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with accountants across various Captain Cook locations to oversee financial activities.
- Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and standards to maintain integrity.
- Conduct thorough audits, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Stay current with evolving accounting practices and regulations.
- Provide guidance on Accounts Payable and Receivable procedures.
- Generate concise monthly reports comparing revenue to budgets for informed decision-making.
- Facilitate training and development of accounting staff to enhance skills.
- Oversee payroll preparation and administration with precision.
- Manage tax filing and financial obligations punctually.
- Leverage accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
- Partner with internal teams to streamline operations and enhance profitability.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a B.Sc / B.A in Accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years of practical experience in relevant roles.
- An added advantage: M.Sc / MBA credentials showcasing advanced knowledge.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, demonstrating expertise.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ensuring accurate data management.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Analytical thinker with strategic planning capabilities.
- Strong leadership skills, dedicated to delivering impactful outcomes.
