Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records and statements
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
Job Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or other accounting software
- Proficient in financial accounting principles and practices
- – Familiarity with financial management and reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience mentoring junior staff members is a plus
