Job Title: BOPP Manufacturing Machinery Operator
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
- Operate and maintain machinery for producing biaxially oriented polypropylene films.
- Ensure efficient machinery operation while upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor BOPP manufacturing machinery as per production schedules and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to optimize machinery performance.
- Monitor machine parameters, adjust controls, and conduct quality checks on materials produced.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and maintain a safe work environment.
- Document production and maintenance activities, participate in training programs to enhance skills.
Requirements
- High School Certificate or equivalent; technical certification or relevant experience preferred.
- 3 years work experience.
- Experience as a machinery operator in a manufacturing environment, especially in BOPP or similar plastic film production.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, ability to read technical documents, and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Attention to detail, quality, teamwork skills, willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime.
