Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, particularly seniors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and companionship. This role requires a blend of practical skills and emotional intelligence, ensuring that each client receives the highest standard of care in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or social events.
- Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to ensure a calm and supportive environment.
- Administer first aid when necessary and monitor clients’ health conditions, reporting any changes to relevant healthcare professionals.
- Offer specialised care for individuals with dementia or those requiring hospice care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties as required.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or home care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and patient care practices is beneficial.
- Certification in first aid or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A valid driving licence is essential for transporting clients as needed.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in approach to care needs.
