Summary
- FMR is looking for a meticulous Cashier to join our client’s growing team.
- The ideal candidate will be a key part of our sales operations, providing excellent customer service and accurately managing all sales transactions.
- As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing all financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- You’ll be the last point of contact for many customers, so your role is crucial in ensuring a positive and seamless shopping experience.
- You will manage daily sales reports, handle cash and electronic payments, and assist with general store tasks to support the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments.
- Provide outstanding customer service, answering questions and resolving issues promptly.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves as needed.
- Communicate customer feedback to management.
Requirements
- Minimum OND
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in the retail or clothing industry.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
Salary
₦80,000 – ₦100,000 Monthly.
