Job Title: Eatery Cashier (Eatery section)
Location: Akobo – Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods
- Count change and balance cash drawer at the start and end of shift
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash wrap and surrounding area
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues
- Upsell and promote products and services as needed
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Maintain knowledge of products, services, and promotions
- Follow company policies and procedures for handling cash, credit card transactions, and customer information
Required Education & Experience
- First Degree/HND/NCE/OND in any field
- 1-2 years minimum of experience in eatery cashier preferred
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Required Skills:
- Attention to detail and accuracy with transactions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Salary
₦40,000 – ₦60,000 Monthly.
