Job Description
- A restaurant, located in Ikoyi Lagos is seeking a friendly, polite, well spoken, and energetic Restaurant Hostess to join their team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience as well as familiarizing guests with restaurant house rules. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanour, and a passion for providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and ensure accurate seating arrangements.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of specials or promotions.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner.
- Coordinate with the wait staff to ensure efficient table turnover and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
- Assist with coat checks, special requests, and other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Salary
₦150,000 – ₦170,000 Monthly.
