Job Description
- As a Hotel Store Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our hotel by managing inventory, conducting data entry, and staying informed about market trends.
- The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and possess a strong understanding of stock management in a hospitality setting.
Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure proper storage of goods.
- Conduct regular stock checks to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Monitor expiration dates and manage product rotations.
Data Entry:
- Input data related to stock levels, orders, and deliveries into the hotel’s system.
- Generate reports on inventory status and sales trends.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Market Knowledge:
- Stay informed about market trends and industry best practices.
- Identify new products that align with the hotel’s standards and guest preferences.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
Customer Service:
- Assist hotel staff with any stock-related inquiries.
- Ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment of internal requests for supplies.
