Job Title: Human Resource Officer
Location: Abeokuta / Lafenwa, Ogun

Job Summary
- The Human Resources Personnel will support the day-to-day HR operations of the microfinance bank, ensuring smooth recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor regulations.
- The role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who can contribute to a supportive and performance-driven workplace
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
- Facilitate onboarding and induction programs for new hires
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Support employee welfare, grievance handling, and conflict resolution
- Organize staff trainings, town halls, and recognition programs
Performance Management
- Monitor appraisals and provide data for performance reviews
- Help implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and staff development plans
Payroll & HR Administration:
- Maintain employee records and ensure timely payroll processing
- Manage staff leave, benefits, and compliance documentation
Compliance & Policy Implementation:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal policies
- Draft and update HR policies as directed by management
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in HR, preferably in banking or financial services
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
