We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Milling Assistant (Internal Only)
Location: Calabar, Cross River
Purpose of the Job
- To support the achievement of BU goals by providing effective assistance for efficient milling operations
The Job
- Monitor and take measurement of wheat and wheat products level in the storage silos.
- Coordinate the sampling and analyzing of flour streams.
- Support mill maintenance activities and monitor the milling process to achieve optimum performance.
- Manage the process of taking chemical draw rate.
- Ensure compliance of safety standards within the milling environment.
- Maintain good housekeeping & hygiene of the mill.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management Safety (FSMS) rules.
- Perform all other operational and administrative milling tasks as required.
Qualification and Experience
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/ NABTEB.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
The Person must:
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Have good time management skills and be result oriented.
- Have keen attention to detail.
