Sales Force Consulting – Our client, a producer of beverages (spirits and wines) in Onitsha, Anambra State, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: MD/CEO
Job Summary
- They require the services of experienced production manager who is grounded in the production of all categories of spirits and wines.
- The Production Manager will contribute to and collaborate with the MD to deliver high quality beverages.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Take charge of the production department to achieve the company’s operative goals.
- Develop the new products and adjust the formulas for the existing products according to the demands of market.
- Draw up a production schedule according to the sales demand & inventory level.
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Set up the standards of operation, production process programs & quality standards and ensure the implement.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel and identify training needs.
- Monitor productivity rates and ensure the production will be cost effective.
- Collate and analyze data, putting together production reports for management use.
- Determine number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
- Enforce health and safety precautions.
Qualifications
- B.Sc in Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry or Degree in related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years cognate experience garnered from a spirits and wines production company.
Personal Attributes & Physical Demands:
- Able to work and lead
- Able to develop relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Must demonstrate proven experience in leading and managing others
- Detail-oriented with a clear commitment to quality improvement.
- Must be able to multi-task; capable of handling several issues at the same time to deliver results and meet desired deadlines.
Salary
₦150,000 – ₦250,000 / month.
