We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sachet Oil Filling Machine Operator
Location: Anambra
Employment Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- The role involves operating the machines (filling, sachet, labeling, capping, sealing, date coding) to achieve the desired output while working within acceptable GMP and GDP guidelines.
- To carry out CIP before production and ensure oil filling machines are in order.
- Oversees carton-making area, sachet sealing area, sorting area, and packing in carton
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery
- Operate tools to aid in the manufacturing process
- Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
- Operate/monitor equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
- Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production at high-quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices.
- Maintain daily production records
- Followed and Maintained health and safety procedures
- Clean machinery and maintain housekeeping and sanitation practices
- Ensure the use of PPEs.
Key Requirements
- Candidates should possess a minimum ND Certificate or B.Sc. Degree
- Proven 3 – 5 years of working experience as an oil-filling process operator in a manufacturing firm
- Candidate must be 30 – 35 years of age
- Must be a detail-oriented person
- Understanding of production and plant processes
- Analytical and numerical skills: the ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stand or walk for long periods
- Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
- A strong strategic and business mindset
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills.
