Job Title: Technical Trainee
Locations: Abuja; Asaba, Warri – Delta; Onitsha, Anambra; Lagos; Kano; Benin, Edo; Kaduna; Port Harcourt, Rivers and Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Contract (3 Months)
Job Summary
- This hands-on apprenticeship program is designed to provide participants with practical, on-the-job training in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of cable systems, internet networks, and CCTV surveillance equipment.
- No prior experience is required, only a strong desire to learn to WORK and a genuine interest in technology.
- Successful candidates will gain valuable skills and exposure to real-world technical environments, laying a solid foundation for a career in the ICT and security systems industry will be Hired.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in installing and configuring: Fiber optic and coaxial cable systems, Internet routers, modems, and network devices – CCTV cameras and surveillance systems
- Learn to read and interpret technical diagrams and installation plans
- Support troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols and handle tools/equipment responsibly
- Document installation activities and report progress to supervisors
- Provide courteous on-site support to clients when required.
Training Includes:
- Fundamentals of networking and cable infrastructure
- Hands-on practice with industry-standard tools and equipment
- Safety procedures and regulatory compliance
- Introduction to IP-based camera systems and remote monitoring
- Customer service and field communication skills.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: OND / HND / B.Sc./equivalent
- Strong interest in technology and fieldwork
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel to various job sites
- Punctual, dependable, and eager to learn.
Salary
- ₦7,000 per day of active participation (payable monthly).
