Job Title: Waiter / Waitress
Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information on menu items, specials, and promotions
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and overall experience
- Clear and reset tables efficiently between courses and after guests depart
- Handle guest complaints or concerns politely and promptly, escalating to a supervisor when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations
- Process payments accurately (cash/card transactions).
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND qualification.
- 2 – 5 years of experience in a similar role preferred but not required (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude, reliable, and able to work under pressure
- Good personal grooming and presentation
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Team player with a willingness to learn.
Salary
₦30,000 – ₦33,000 monthly.
