As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify their contents, and inspect for damage. Ensure accurate recording of received items.
Inventory Management: Maintain organized inventory storage, track stock levels, and assist in conducting regular inventory counts.
Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring that products are packed securely and ready for delivery.
Shipping and Receiving: Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and proper documentation. Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.
Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and warehouse procedures, including the safe operation of equipment such as pump truck.
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment for efficient operations.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve daily and weekly goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and independent environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
