Job Description
- We are looking to hire an experienced accountant to create and maintain financial data, records and reports in an aluminum extrusion factory.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create and maintain financial records.
- Ensure all records, book-keeping systems and accounts are exact.
- Establish systems to track and reconcile daily transactions and financial reports including balances, payments, and statements.
- Work with management to actively monitor and understand budget variances.
- Ensure internal controls, corporate governance, and compliance with local laws.
- Maintain thorough internal audit trail
- Coordinate with external audit to ensure that audits are completed on time and according to standards set by Nigeria regulatory agencies.
- Handle continuous financial administration.
- Compile and present quarterly and annual financial statements, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc in Accounting or other related fields and completed the NYSC program(COMPULSORY).
- At least 10 years experience as a accountant.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- In-depth knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting software such as Quick-books.
- Organizational skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Highly observant and analytical.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA or equivalent(COMPULSORY).
