We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Managing Director (Mortgage Banking)
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Finance, Economics, or related discipline) is highly desirable.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies such as CIBN, ICAN/ANAN; CFA or equivalent is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15–20 years’ post-qualification experience in banking or financial services.
- At least 5–10 years in a senior executive leadership role, preferably within a mortgage bank, commercial bank, or similar financial institution.
- Demonstrated experience in mortgage finance, housing and construction finance, credit management, and balance sheet optimization.
Other Requirements:
- Strong strategic leadership and corporate governance capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage banking operations, CBN/NDIC/FMBN regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to drive business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Sound financial, risk management, and asset-liability management expertise.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship skills.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and sound judgment, with the ability to lead change and build high-performing teams.
