Job Description
- We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Site Workers. This role will play a crucial part in sourcing plastic materials to our recycling facilities.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing of plastic materials monthly to our site locations.
- Meeting a target of 30 tones of plastics monthly.
- Operate equipment and machinery for loading and unloading plastic materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during transportation and handling of materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with plastic suppliers, including businesses, organizations, and individuals, to ensure a consistent and reliable supply of plastic materials for recycling.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, transportation, and other relevant documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to optimize logistics and operations.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies related to plastic recycling and sourcing. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.
Requirements
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to material handling and transportation.
- Ability to use a compressing machine is an added advantage.
- Commitment to environmental sustainability and recycling initiatives.
- Fluency in Hausa Language.
Salary
₦100,000 – ₦300,000 / month.
