We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Waiter / Waitress
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus and offer detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously.
- Check-in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.
- Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Process bills and handle payments accurately (cash or card).
- Follow hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Assist in setting up for service, including linens, silverware, and glassware.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
Requirements
- Minimum of an SSCE / High School Diploma; additional hospitality or service training is a plus.
- Previous experience in food and beverage service or a similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations.
